MAHLE TechPRO® Digital ADAS calibration tool for driver assistance systems wins the KRAFTHAND Technology Award

Stuttgart, November 27, 2018 – Until now, printed tables placed in front of the vehicle were used for the calibration of driver assistance systems. The MAHLE TechPRO® Digital ADAS calibration tool replaces this complicated solution with a smart idea: a digital calibration panel on a flat-screen monitor. Workshops therefore no longer need to keep numerous tables for the different vehicle models: the tables for new types of vehicles are automatically stored when the system is updated. This also impressed the KRAFTHAND specialist jury, who rewarded the innovation from the workshop solution provider MAHLE with first place in the Krafthand Technology Award.


MAHLE Aftermarket expands range of starter motors and alternators for heavy-duty vehicles

Stuttgart, November 9, 2018 – By the end of 2018, MAHLE Aftermarket will have significantly expanded its product portfolio in terms of starter motors and alternators for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Stuttgart/Germany, September 4, 2018 – In August, the MAHLE Group acquired all the shares in the former joint venture Behr Thermot-tronik Italia S.p.A. (BTTI), which has been renamed MAHLE Behr Grugliasco S.p.A. with immediate effect. The former shareholders, MAHLE Behr Kornwestheim GmbH and Valtri S.p.A., jointly agreed to this step in order to pursue the long-term, future-oriented focus and successful ongoing development of BTTI.


30 years of A/C service: MAHLE supports workshops with efficient, connected and sustainable A/C service units

MAHLE intends to continue its growth in the aftermarket with thermal management products

Stuttgart, August 9, 2018 – The MAHLE Group plans to acquire all the shares in Behr Hella Service GmbH, its current joint venture with Hella, and to distribute Behr Hella Service products via its own Aftermarket organization. This step will further strengthen MAHLE’s position in thermal management. Following a transitional period, MAHLE intends to manage the spare parts business for thermal management products on its own, starting on January 1, 2020.


MAHLE acquires majority holding in diagnostics specialist BrainBee

Stuttgart, May 22, 2018 – The MAHLE Group has increased its holding in BrainBee, an automotive workshop equipment specialist, to 80 percent of the company’s shares. After a strategic minority holding of 20 percent was agreed in September 2017, MAHLE Aftermarket is now taking another important step toward becoming a solutions provider. With this majority acquisition, MAHLE Aftermarket is significantly expanding its European presence in the area of equipment and services for workshops.

The two parties signed an agreement effective today, Thursday, March 1, 2018. MAHLE is thus consistently pursuing its plan to focus on its strategic core business.
