Lavon Miller of Firepunk Diesel Exclusively Uses Clevite® Engine Bearings in The Enforcer

Farmington Hills, MI… August 25, 2016 – Lavon Miller, two time Diesel Challenge Winner, Ultimate Challenge Winner, and points leader in the 2016 Pro Street Truck Outlaw Diesel Super Series would never consider using any other engine bearing than Clevite when preparing his truck’s engine, The Enforcer, for the 2016 Ultimate Callout Challenge.

Lavon’s engine builder, Drew Pumphrey at D & J Precision Machine says, “We have always used Clevite H-Series engine bearings for Lavon’s engine because they are the best bearings available to handle all the high horsepower and torque needed for him to compete in such demanding conditions. They hold up time after time.”

The Ultimate Callout Challenge, a three day event held annually each summer in Salt Lake City, Utah assembles the country’s most powerful and best-built diesel trucks together in one place to measure their performance in three specific categories: highest combined horsepower and torque, quickest quarter-miles, and best performance in a sled pull environment. Miller took home the quickest elapsed time award with an outstanding 8.50 in the quarter- mile, and finished second in both the dyno competition and sled pulling. There were 32 competitors overall, and $32,000 in payouts up for grabs.

“I have had the opportunity to see some of these diesel beasts in action,” stated Jon Douglas, President of MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. “It never ceases to amaze me the power they can put out as they push their trucks to the edge. We at MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. wish to congratulate Lavon Miller and Firepunk Diesel for such winning results, and wish him every success as he chases the 2016 Pro Street Truck Outlaw Diesel Super Series championship.”
