  • MAHLE scores the highest possible rating achieving a level of excellence and receives the “Leading Companies” award
  • EUPD Research recognizes the transparency of sustainability reports and the sustainability goals and measures on which they are based

EUPD Research has awarded MAHLE the ESG Transparency Award 2024. The international market research and consulting company uses this award to honor companies that have successfully anchored future-oriented sustainability concepts in their organization and communicate them transparently. The 2023 sustainability report from MAHLE received an overall score of 86 percent. This equates to the excellence level (75–100 percent) and is thus highest possible award level. “This rating makes MAHLE one of the pioneers in the economy who have recognized the importance of transparent sustainability reporting and have successfully put it into practice,” said Georg Dietz, member of the Management Board of the MAHLE Group. “I am very pleased that we have once again been recognized by an independent body for our sustainability activities.” The result means MAHLE receives the “Leading Companies” award of the ESG Transparency Award 2024.

EUPD Research examines and evaluates the sustainability goals and measures of European companies in the five categories of transparency, environmental, social, governance, and compliance. “MAHLE achieved the level of excellence in all classes,” said Kathrin Apel, Global Head of Sustainability, Health, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Management at MAHLE.

As a foundation-owned company, MAHLE has a special responsibility toward its employees, society, and the environment. This is firmly anchored in the MAHLE 2030+ Group strategy and given measurable targets.
