THE MORE THINGS CHANGE… The more they stay the same. Like the Aftermarket industry that MAHLE serves, MAHLE Clevite Inc. is continuing to evolve. With a new General Manager in Jon Douglas, and a new company name in MAHLE Aftermarket – the essential fact is that MAHLE is committed to delivering Aftermarket customers the same high quality parts and same great service that customers have grown to expect. What was once exclusively an engine parts supplier has evolved into a supplier of equipment and components for the engine and it’s periphery. The addition of a full line of premium quality filtration products, as well as OE replacement turbochargers for the Aftermarket is now joined by new products like thermostats and workshop equipment. MAHLE Aftermarket in North America continues to grow based on opportunities in the marketplace. For us, one of the most exciting projects of 2011 is increasing our connection to technicians. Yes we are now proudly part of the ExtremeWrench family with MAHLE Original filters – but launching an all new Social Media presence is key to bridging the gap to those that use our products. For a supplier of engine parts and products for the engine periphery – we are specializing in building bridges – increasing connections that lead to selling more parts, and servicing those that make a living installing those parts.

From grade school through high school, then out into the “Real World” - most people are familiar with the expression: “Like comparing apples to oranges.” Normally this describes a comparison between two things that are not necessarily alike. Although typically one is not better than the other, it is just a way of saying that two things are different. However, when MAHLE Clevite is involved in an “apples to oranges” comparison, rarely are they equal. Whether the apples measure the quality of the parts or the service levels that are behind the quality; invariably there are more apples involved in MAHLE Clevite product than the competitors. Another instance is measuring price differences. Of course, just having the parts is not always enough - they need to be the right parts.
