PLENTY OF COMFORT
With the launch of the third generation of the Actros, Mercedes-Benz continues its successful series of commercial vehicles. A driver oriented cabin concept with ergonomically placed instruments and generous interior space make the cockpit a comfortable workplace. Low-reaching side windows and a large windscreen provide good all-round visibility. Whether in tough building site environment or long distance traffic: MAHLE cabin filters take care of a pleasant atmosphere in the air-conditioned driver’s cabin.

ACTIVE SAFETY
Improvements in the areas of driving comfort and safety are provided by the combined drive and brake cruise control as well as a fully automatic transmission. Also a computerised brake system with ABS, ASR and roll back prevention is included as standard. This provides active safety, because it assures that the brake force is distributed optimally to all axes, independent of the loading conditions. The brake pads wear therefore at a similar rate and can be replaced at the same time.

HIGHLY EFFICIENT
The engines are controlled by a state-of-the-art engine system. This electronic control optimally adjusts the fuel injection in milliseconds to the respective driving conditions. The engines come in a power range from 235 kW (320 hp) to 440 kW (598 hp) with maximum torques from 1,650 Nm to 2,800 Nm at 1,080 rpm. For the V6 and V8 engines, which are fitted with pistons and piston pins, connecting rods, cylinder liners, valves, valve guides, valve seat inserts and air filters from MAHLE – the maximum torque is always available in the low, fuel saving engine speed range.

VW PASSAT CC
The new Passat CC had its world premiere at the Detroit Motorshow. VW has achieved a high-class blend of comfort and sportiness with this four door coupe. The luxurious standard package comes with a choice of 3 petrol and diesel engines with 103 kW (140 hp), 118 kW (160 hp) and 220 kW (300 hp). The direct injection engines with dynamic torque ranges are equipped with pistons, piston rings and piston pins, connecting rods, bearings, valves, air filters, air ducting, oil filter modules, fuel filters and carbon canisters from MAHLE.

PEUGEOT PARTNER TEPEE
Partner is the name of the new member that has now extended the Peugeot Tepee model family. With 4.38 m length, 1.81 m width and 1.80 m height, the comfortable mini van has become even more spacious. Additional storage compartments are even located in the multi-function glass roof. A choice of 6 engine versions is available, comprising 2 petrol and 4 HDi diesel engines. MAHLE supplies the pistons and piston rings, bearings, cylinder liners, camshafts, oil filter modules, fuel filters and carbon canisters.

SEAT IBIZA
Early in May, Seat introduced the new Ibiza to the public. Compared with its predecessor, the sporty Spaniard has a new technical basis with wider track and an extended wheel base. Additional curtain and side airbags for driver and front-seat passenger as well as the ESP, which comes as standard equipment, provide increased safety. The oil filter modules, fuel filter modules, carbon canisters, air filters, pistons, piston rings and piston pins, connecting rods, valves and cam shafts from MAHLE in a wide engine range take care of dynamic propulsion.

MAN TGX V8
“Truck of the Year 2008” and most powerful truck in series production in Europe: the MAN TGX V8 is the new top model of the renowned manufacturer of commercial vehicles. The standard XXL driver’s cabin offers even more comfort and a special equipment package. With pistons, piston pins, cylinder liners, valve seat inserts, roller tappets as well as axel oil filters from MAHLE, the completely new developed 8-cylinder V engine with 500 kW (680 hp) and a torque of 3,000 Nm is designed for maximum driving performance. This makes it possible to travel at high speed even when fully loaded.

CITROËN NEMO
The cooperation between Fiat, PSA Peugeot Citroën and Tofas is bearing its first fruits. A new class of light commercial vehicles has been created with the Citroën Nemo, which is manufactured in Turkey. Thanks to a fold-down front passenger seat, a loading length of 2.50 m and a volume of 2.8 m3 can be achieved. The compact small van is available with a choice of diesel and petrol engines. Under the bonnet, oil filter modules, fuel filters, carbon canisters, valve seat inserts, cam shafts, pistons, piston pins and piston rings, bearings and cylinder liners from MAHLE have been fitted.

VOLVO C30
Safe, compact, attractive – this is how Volvo describes its two-door C30. The compact car in the premium segment emphasizes this claim with a new design concept that offers even more refined materials in the interior of the 2008 model. In addition to the familiar petrol and diesel engines, there is now the choice of one more Common Rail turbo diesel with 132 kW (180 hp). Pistons, piston rings and piston pins, connecting rods, air filters and air ducting, oil filter modules and fuel filters from MAHLE offer sporty driving performance.

BMW X6
BMW presents the new X6 as the world’s first “Sports Activity Coupé”. With the combination of the familiar BMW X model and a four-door coupe a new vehicle category has been created. Like all BMW all-terrain vehicles, the X6 comes with an intelligent four wheel drive with variable torque split as standard. Behind its distinctive front with large air intakes, oil filter modules, fuel filter modules, carbon canisters, air intake modules, air filters and air ducting, engine covers, valve seat inserts, camshafts, pistons and piston pins as well as connecting rods are doing their work.
